O.R. Tambo International Airport Named 3rd Most Halal Friendly Airport in the WorldCrescentrating recently announced the "CrescentRating's Halal Friendly Travel (CRaHFT) Ranking 2012" of the Top 10 Halal Friendly Airports (Non OIC Countries) in 2012. And now, we're proud to announce that O.R. Tambo International Airport has been selected as the 3rd Most Halal Friendly Airport in the world.
While judging some of the top airports around the world. Crescentrating looked at how well airports were able to meet the needs of travelling Muslims. Some international airports don't have facilities like a prayer room or Halal food facilities. O.R. Tambo International Airport offers a Muslim prayer room which is open 24 hours a day, separate facilities for men and women and conducts the Jumu'ah Salaat prayer every Friday. Read more... |
